3D Puzzle- The Pentacube

The Pentacube is a tool for senior citizens to foster and inspire creativity and mental plasticity. The Pentacube is constructed from 27 wooden blocks to create a cubic structure. Built within the structure of the cube, the blocks are glued together to create 5 different parts consisting of no less than 4 blocks for each part.

Each part of the Pentacube has a different arrangement and number of blocks. This creates a puzzle that the player must solve. The main purpose of the puzzle is to take the individual parts and reconstruct the cube. Doing so encourages the player to observe the complex shape of each part from different angles to see how each part fits into the overall assembly.
